Three fragments that belong to a clay plaque decorated in the black-figure technique on white-ground that depicts the Gigantomachy. A fourth fragment is housed in the National Archaeological Museum of Athens. All fragments were unearthed during excavations on the Acropolis.

The goddess Athena is depicted turning to the viewer’s right. She wears chiton, himation, aegis and an Attic-type helmet. She holds a spear with her left hand which would have been raised. Opposite her, a partially preserved hoplite can be seen. He may be the Giant Engelados who wears short chiton, himation and holds a shield.
